And I'm talking to teenagers here, so what kind of people are they?

Like

Dorks,
preps,

wh0res,
etc.

I used to have a bunch in middle school, who were kind of nerdy, but they were NT's and not stupid.

When I moved in the middle of my freshman year, I had a few opportunities but screwed them up due to usual Aspie-ness.

And this one chick who moved in the beginning of this year tried to talk to me, but...same old, same old :(

Is there a meet up group in your area for teens with Aspergers? Are you working with a therapist on your social issues? Is your school offering you any help?

Then, reframe your attitude towards women, do not refer to them as 'whores', I realize you are 15 and that kind of slang is popular but show some respect towards the female gender. You can start by not using that word. Who know you might get known as a gentleman among the young ladies at your school and they will like you for that...

And the old tried but true, follow your interests at school, join groups you like, I dunno, whatever you are interested in. Then you will automatically have something to discuss of mutual interest with the young ladies who are also in this group.

If there is no group that interests you, start one. Say an after school group to meet once a week and discuss anime, video games, manga or whatever.

Good luck.

I agree. Getting involved with school events is a great way to make some friends.

For me, that was rugby. But you can try something less rough. :thumright:

in my life, girls were always nicest to me and guys were the ones whole bullied me so naturally i learned to trust girls easier than guys. i have more female friends than guy friends and i tend to become my female friends' Best Friend, and we usually get REALLY close, usually if they have boyfriends their boyfriends' hate me because of how close we are even though we just friends, they get jealous of me because i tend to get a lot of the girls' attention. i guess i can just be that darn cute ^_^

I have one...she is a South African immigrant that has had a lot of life experiences who is also very mature and enjoys a wide range of bands/humor and has a routine each day. Seeing how this works well?

She is individualistic.

Cliques are for those that are not self-actualized.

My other 10 friends and 5 acquaintances (impressive no?) are male though. Easier to understand creatures more logical than emotional, but men tend to either be complete idiots or very friendly and mature.

I'm a girl. I have no, an have never had any, guy friends. Like, ever. Unless you count the guy I dated for seven months ... But we barely knew each other when we started dating and even though he only lived a mile away in the seven months of dating we only went out on four dates, all of them except the first set up by me, and we ne'er held hands or kissed or anythingC and we only hugged once (and that was awkward) he was my frst boyfriend and only so far. Then again, I'm starting to think I may be bisexual...

Well that was a long post mostly unrelated to the thread. Oh well. I haven't had my meds Er this morning.

Women are kinder to men than other men but are horrible to one another...I can never really comfort them when they're down, which is slightly crippling my ability to be friends with them. If you can do that, though, you can quickly earn trust, especially sicne we keep secrets so well (well, when asked haha.)

I don't consider myself to have a lot of lady friends personally, but I've known and been friends with a good amount.

I had a lot of chic friends even to the point where guys would joke that I was a pimp. 8) a bit of Stoic reputation with guys for that one.

There have been a several girls at my school over the past few years that I have learned have wanted to date me. I have never picked up on their hints or cues that they liked me. I learned this from a guy in my class that told me one day about them. One of the girls is very religious and popular. A couple more are in the popular cheerleader type group. And a couple more are noted for coming from rough families although they are nice. However, I have no desire to date them.

Lady friends? Nope, don't have any. I barely even have any friends at all. A lot of girls seemed to like me on some level in middle school, but I was never very receptive. Socializing was so much easier in middle school, It's too bad I missed each and every opportunity I got, out of fear.
