Some are too illogical, and some are too logical, it's a question of balance. My aspie professor son in law can be the latter, there's no room for latitude into other modes with him most of the time. He's a lovely person though and I love and admire him. It's frustrating for his wife/my NT daughter though at times.

Depends on what we mean by 'logic'. I find that it is often different values/priorities that cause issues not proper reasoning.

Yes, the "premise" is often not the same across the board.

Logic is not superior to emotion

Logic does not replace emotion

Nor vice versa

Some things require logic

Some things require emotion

Thinking with emotion and acting like it is logical is unjustified

Sure, but isn't this just what most NTs do?

I can be very illogical, and my emotions often get in the way of doing or achieving things. Not all Aspies are logical.

Same here it depends. Often im being logical but in a different way...
Giving importance to those things that affected me directly more (experience)
logic has many avenues..

My sister has studied logic

its an actual subject that she is obsessed with.she has many many books about it. She said it's important to learn about because every decision in life depends on it.

Tomorrow I'll ask her to tell me the books' names in case someone wants to read them... I can post them here tomorrow

Ok but...
What is an example of thinking with emotion but acting as though it is logic?
