I have my own personal reason to not trust what is commonly admitted as 'science'.
Real science is done by amateurs for the sole sake of discovering new things. Professional scientists is an oxymoron. They guide their effort to discover what they want to discover.
The hologram is a good idea. I read a book about black holes in 2013. Susskind, the author of that book, talked about our reality/universe/whatever being just encoding in a hologram in a lower dimension than what we perceive.
It's not normal to share the same identity complex with a lot of other humans beings. We are destined for diversity.
