I was never beat up. But I definitely got picked on occasionally. A lot of s**t that was said by some people was to f**k with me. After about 5th grade I could pretty much take any type of verbal "bullying" with ease. I simply didn't let it move me. However I do find myself reflecting on particular moments that stood out when I was younger. Mainly because the people who seemingly had a problem with me, had nothing to justify their actions. I think it was 7th or 8th grade when I realized you don't have to do anything wrong to someone for them to truly hate you. And it did suck at times, especially when the person is someone who at one point or another you saw as a friend.
