A good night's sleep might help both of those problems.

It's 2am here
Pretend you're in England

I sometimes go to bed really early
But then you might wake up in the middle of the night and be even more sleepy tomorrow :?

That's what happened yesterday. :? I took a long nap and I had to take something to go back to sleep.

I used to always go to sleep when I got in from university, then I'd wake up when everyone else was going to bed. It's a bit annoying really. I should go to sleep now I guess...
If you stay awake now at least you'll be more likely to sleep better tonight maybe
Resist the urge to sleep now :)

I'd much rather be in England right now. I miss the pubs in London, and after today's events a few cops with bullet-proof vests and assault weapons simply patrolling around here wouldn't upset me all that much either.

Did you used to live in England?
I'm in Manchester so I haven't been to London for a few years, I like it there though

Visited London for a measly two weeks this past summer. Missed it ever since I landed back in the U.S. (Didn't miss it on the plane, I brought a fist-full of $5.00 bills for alcoholic drinks.)

I don't hate the U.S., I simply prefer other places over it. Well, everything but the cost of...everything in London. Beers seemed pricey, at the time I wished I had stopped smoking simply due to the cost of a pack of cigs (roughly $10.00 U.S.! !! That's almost THREE TIMES the cost of a pack here! I'd probably have quit if I stayed longer!), and food...food felt pricey too. If I had a job that payed reasonably, or was in a smaller city, I'd likely get past that part.

The fact that I was staying around Sloane Square didn't help either. Sure, I had a free roof over my head, but everything else cost a lot.

I really want to go back over the pond, sooner the better, I just don't know when that will be possible again.

4. Fine now, but I blacked out earlier today for no particular reason.

0. I'm pretty sure I recognize one of the victims of the shooting. I think he was in a few of my psychology classes. The death toll keeps rising. I'm terrified any other people I know were hurt. I didn't even know this guy all that well. I knew him though, and just that realization was like a sucker-punch to the gut.

I'm terribly sorry. I hope you will be able to feel better soon. We're all here for you if you need us.

3/10. In fact, I have written a poem about it:

I hate big people, small people
short people, tall people
I hate people who stand and people who sit
I hate people who talk, and not just a bit
I will hate people in a house
I hate people who live down south
I hate people in the sky and people in the sea
I hate everyone who is you and everyone who is me
I hate people in a box, I hate people with a fox...

That's a nice way to express yourself maldoror. How long did it take for you to write that? Maybe poetry could be a new way of venting...
