I'm sorry it's so bad for you. I can't tell you it's going to get better because I don't know if it will or not. All I can do is hope. You are in a tough position because of your friend, having the feelings you have for her and not acting on them. It sucks, and I don't know what the answer is to your problem. Its actually extremely unacceptable to not have a girlfriend. Humans have been in companionship mode since humans existed years ago. Being that my situation "sucks" is a defeatist attitude and I don't accept that. Why the f**k should I!! !

Or working through why you are so fixated with the idea of having a girlfriend? It seems to be like you're just suffering from an obsession. If it's that I understand, heaven knows we can come down with those. Would it help you to treat it as such instead of letting it matter?

I have the exact same problem as you. For a while it really bothered me, then I learned to be happy being single. If I can do that at...jeez how old was I..18? You can do it at your age.

This is what makes me think you're suffering from an obsession. No matter what, you want a girlfriend, it's the center of your world, the core of your being right now is that you want a girlfriend and it's killing you that you don't have one.
