What about the "for as long as we both shall live"/"unto death do we part" vows? Are they just poetry? If someone commits actual adultery, rather than imaginary "heart adultery", such is Biblically a capital crime. Maybe such scum should be executed, along with people who sexually abuse children. If they treat you abusively, maybe they should be publicly flogged until they get the notion that it's wrong to hurt women through their thick skulls.

It's wrong to hurt anyone, and I would advise stop taking the Bible so literally, it's fundamentalism when you do it, no matter the religion (if you take the book word for word). Also, killing someone for divorce is an insane idea and relating it to child abuse is something I cannot understand.

Plus, divorce is not something strictly for marriages with religion.

I don't think you're reading what I said. Adultery is a capital crime, not divorce. Divorce is something which shouldn't exist, but it does as only a concession for the hardness of hearts.

How the hell is adultery a capital crime, do we live in the Middle East and are under Sharia law? Seriously, killing someone for that is one of the stupidest things. I'm assuming you live in the States, where that is not a capital offense.

Divorce has it's place. People grow apart, which may suck, but some things don't last forever.

Is your ex ignoring you? I've been ignoring my ex for over 25 years. She's a whiner, a liar, a cheat, and a thief. Keeping her out of my life since the divorce makes my life easier, because I don't have to deal with her crap - that's all that matters, and there is nothing wrong with that.

My ex ignored me too and then he came back twice and then was silent again. I moved on and don't need someone like him in my life. He was also a narcissist.

i would not call her my ex unless it had a squillion quotation marks around it but Kol would send me on these chemical hills and valleys, giving me messages of hope of our possible being together that airlift me. the followup was silence, and then she decides to exist again.

it was the perfect fuel for limerence. it works flawlessly to keep me hanging in there.

i don't think it's narcissist.

Yeah, she still is. Except for when Patty the cockatiel passed away. The last thing she wrote to me was, "I'm sorry for your loss. Patty was a good bird." Apart from that, she's still ignoring me. Jackie isn't so bad. She is a compulsive liar, but her mother taught her to be that way, so I don't really blame her for behaving as she was raised. It is annoying to be lied to since the beginning about stuff that didn't matter (like claiming she had a pork and shellfish allergy in order to be able to eat kosher without having to argue theology among fellow Christians and other churchians, or about saying that she had seen a hill open up and an F117 fly into when she lived in Dahlgren Minnesota. It's like, were you just seeing if I would believe you? Were you competing with my stepdad for talking about the declassified stuff he worked on when he helped program the GPS satellites and various guidance systems or what the heck reason did you like to me Jackie? It doesn't matter, I just love her and want her back.)

For some people I would never mind the lack of them ever, but Jackie is not one of them. I love my Jackie.

Is she aware how much you're hurting for her?

I would guess so. She still isn't speaking with me, so I don't know.

For anyone who cares to pray, please pray that Jackie will start speaking with me again soon.

Why do you say that she "abandoned" you? She has left you, because she does not want to share her life with you anymore, and have a romantic relationship with you. That does not mean that she does not care about you, and want you to feel less miserable. Don't her words after your bird died show that very much?

With the capital crime menace and your obsessive wish to "have her back" you frighten her. It shows that you are not ready to respect the distance that everybody needs in or after a partnership. With that, you let her no other choice but to be silent.

Obsessiveness and Asperger's walk hand-in-hand, even if that obsession only leads to unhappiness. Trust me, I know of what I speak.

Some people find it easier to ignore someone after a conflict over having to tell them they never want to speak to them again.

It's over. Let her go, and get on with your own life.
