Hugs to D&D for all you’re going through ... and to anyone else who’s having a tough time.

6 - Feeling hopeful and very relieved. Hearing is still very much blocked(woke up to this 3 weeks ago as of Sunday ... I miss hearing simple things like birds tweeting, music ... ), and Doc says it will stay that way for quite awhile, BUT it will return 8). So, over the moon with that news! She’s put me on a med to help with the vestibular issues, meanwhile still feverish, seems its a eustacian tube malfunction that with treatment, will sort itself out. Nights feel scary as head feels under enormous pressure, but ibuprofin is doing its job. Can handle this much better now I know it’s not permanent. I’m off to Penzance, Cornwall for R&R with my daughter for 2 weeks. Hoping sea air will help, and some girly sewing and craft time. Have found an 1850s pretty miner’s cottage to stay in(will share photos once there). It’s where they filmed Poldark apparently.

*I’ve read that we, who are on the spectrum are more prone than NTs to ear issues and that they do not know quite why... Thanks to all who sent well wishes . Special thanks to MG for being amazing, and MilkTalk(aka Milkerton for being my “dwt-est” amigo for keeping me smiling. Look forward to being train buddies maybe in September. xx

I’m certainly glad your hearing issue was temporary.

Now....let’s get rid of the fever :ninja:

Thank you for the hugs, I send big dragon hugs in return. And I’m so glad you will eventually get your hearing back. I too can handle my stuff a lot better knowing that at the end of things I will get better.

7. It's my summer vacation, and I started with coming to my parents' place. Been here since Tuesday. I came back from the woods around an hour ago; I was picking blueberries. Managed to fill the container I had with me, but there were a lot of bugs at some points, which was annoying.

It is that time of the day for me -- a time I cared more than I would.

Or was it that day of the week?
No... Maybe that week of the month?

Again, no... I wouldn't exactly know.
Because it'll always pass.

Yet if so -- I'd take it as a chance to understand what it meant.

More like a 6 than a 7.

2ish?

I have to go spend 10 hours in a loud, bright factory like I do every other day. :|
