I used to think I wanted a loving family more than anything else.

Then I started to think that I wanted a paternal figure/lover more than anything else.

Then I started to think that I wanted the conquering of grandiose goals more than anything else.

But all of those desires stem from something much deeper.

I want to be alright with myself and who I am. More than anything else in the world. I do not want to feel like a pariah.

This is a tough struggle for me.

That's a worthy goal. When do you feel the best about yourself?

You make me smile, KagamineLen.

Because you remind me of a famous writer named G.K. Chesterton.
He was once given a writing assignment to answer the question,
"What's wrong with the world today?"

He wrote back a simple two words to his editor.
"I am."

So you're in good company. :)
