missing people

A friend with Aspergers said he only misses people if they've not talked a long time. Is that how most people feel ?

I’m a people person and so get quite attached to people so I’d be bad example.
I miss people after few days.

He's ok, and we're still friends. Unfortunately, I still have unrequited feelings for him.

I have a hard time getting "attached" to people.

I've always wanted to do my own thing---all my life.

I enjoy the company of people----but I enjoy my own company a little more.
