I realized that I let people know too much about my life in the past. I regret not setting boundaries and i wish i was more assertive about confronting nosy ones. All the bad experiences making me nervous.

I know ... I'm not assertive either. I'm sorry I have no advice for you. Try to keep your guard up around people you don't know. Easier said than done and I'm very guarded now compare to when I was younger. We learn from our mistakes.
