anyway, I just got back from a long break from WP (i never formerly left, but I haven't been here in months) and I had a really stressful holiday season.
first of all, I just don't want to say christmas sucked, but alot of crummy things happened during it.

first thing that happened, was my mom got laid off, she's still looking for a new job. then we had a local company called CRAMER SIDING AND WINDOWS come and replace the windows, add on to the the porch, and re-shingle the roof, it rained, and now there is mold growing in the kitchen, and we had to have it all ripped out, leaving us with no kitchen for the holidays. and then our car rolled, and our plans to go visit family in florida getting away from our kitchen for christmas, and even though we managed to go visit family in chicago, christmas wasn't the same

sorry for the steaming, I just needed to tell someone...

Yikes!

I hope everyone is alright from the car accident!

Mold is nasty! I can imagine you all really hate it. I've had that black mold on my walls in other houses before.
It's really gross when you rip out the sheetrock to find it all black behind.
In your kitchen REALLY sounds gross!

I hope you can get it resolved soon.

Glad you could feel like coming here to rant.
Hope it felt good to do so.

Have you lived in Chicago a long time? I would think the winters in a place like that would wear me out!

I hope your the new year didn't bring you any more bad stories.

That sounds cruddy, sorry to hear it went down like that. BTW, I hope you at least misspelled that company's name enough, not that its real likely that they'd be on here looking for slander but you know how it goes these days :|

first:
I dont live in chicago, extended family does, we visit them for family x-mas, we stayed there for the real one this year
second:
i hope i didn't spell it wrong. they were huge jerks, they kept on ignoring us when we called telling them how they ruined our house, and decreased the value (they did a cruddy job on it) and all that jazz, and my parents are thinking about suing
third:
my dad's fine, his shoulder hurt for a few days from the seatbelt (the car rolled, it's been totaled) but other than that, he's good

If nothing else, you all should report this company to the better business bureau and the chamber of commerce where you live.

I hope you all have alternate forms of travel like another car?

I hope things do start getting better.
Is the rest of the house okay at least?

Good to see you back, that your family is well, and you are getting a new car.

I bet you got great stuff for Christmas.

You Mom was ready for a change of job, things are picking up, I bet she gets a better one. She will have more time to spend with you, not much use in having a kid if you never see them.

Everyone who made it to Florida was in time for the thunderstorms, and most were eaten by alligators, so all and all ,not bad.

Great to get a new kitchen too, for Christmas and unexpected, I bet that will make your Mom happy, once it is all done. Remodeling never happens on time, but it does get done.

In winter old cold people go to Florida, in summer young cute things go to the beach, wearing enough material to make a small baseball cap. You are owed, your time will come.

The Universe is perfect, you will see.

Tell your parents Varoom! Varoom! from me to them this Holiday.

Hello Squier,

Sorry about your holiday!

We started Taekwondo because of your book (no karate near our house, Taekwondo was the closest martial art).

AussieBoy and I are have graded successfully twice. We have loaned your book to AussieBoy's friends.

You are an inspiration Squier!

Thankyou Squier!

Helen
