A pot noodle, on special offer; not good for one, but tasty and good value. I tried to up its nutritional content by adding a couple of spoons of red lentils, which are a favourite of mine as they usually cook up in no time. This particular brand didn't, though, so I've had to let it soak till this evening.

Here's a funny thing; being the tastiest of their kind, they used to be relatively expensive, but suddenly two shops have them on special offer, making them the cheapest, yeaaaah!

It was supposed to be peanut soup but it didn't exactly go as planned. When the smoke alarm goes off it's usually not a good sign for your food. What really bothers me is that 80% of it is still perfectly edible but there's no way I'm picking out every one of those burnt grains of barley.

That was the first meal I cooked (or tried to) this school year.

The last, tonight, was also peanut soup, and for the first time, it actually worked :D

I cooked up a breakfast burrito and some oatmeal for breakfast. Oatmeal was really good...threw in some dried cranberries and golden raisins, some diced apple and walnuts. Good stuff yep.
