I still draw cartoon funny animals sometimes, even though I know it will make people automatically hate me and call me a furry or a zoophile.

I confess I ate the last piece of cheesecake despite saying I would only eat one a day.

In my defense, it was my birthday cheesecake. And it was really f**king good.

The amount of information I know about animal feces is disturbing. And that's just from watching bear grills

I often find talking difficult which is a problem when there are things I really need to say.

I confess that I'm still madly obsessed with Routemasters.

There was a movie I found too upsetting to watch when I was around 20. I’m not going to say which one it was, but I had to turn it off about 30 minutes in. It came to me yesterday that, over the course of my life, I’ve been bombarded with the oddly specific things in one way or another that I was too sensitive to watch back then. It’s a strange feeling - a weird coincidence, I guess.

This princess slept on the floor the past two nights. I don’t mind.

I've watched three episodes of MLP FiM on Youtube the past two days.

(Now that the brony fandom seems to have died down, I feel that I can enjoy watching it without feeling too uncomfortable now)

I happened to run away from home twice at 20 - no one knows it. I had always wanted to run away from home as an experiment ever since I was 13 and the level of development of my brain finally allowed me to be able to deal with life on the run on my own (and generally do the same with my brain as all adults who can fully take care of themselves).

I confess I still see my therapist behind my mom's back despite my mom having told me to stop.

You're a grown adult, you don't need to be sneaky when you can just set a boundary.

My mom believes all boundaries have to be physical instead of mental or psychological.

So, I guess she expects you to smack her instead of just telling her it's none of her damn business?

I'd support verbally telling her it's none of her damn business to establish the boundary, but if she insists on a smack upside the head before accepting that it's none of her damn business that's none of my damn business.

That's a joke, I'm not suggesting you hit your mom.

What I mean by setting a boundary is just not allowing her to have any input on your choice to see a therapist. You don't let her give an opinion, you tell her it's not a matter that involves her and refuse to allow her input at all.

^^

I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder ten years ago.

Two years later, my NT sister was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

Our mom has been in denial ever since.

I'm sorry you're dealing with that, and with having a mother who isn't supportive of your attempts at seeking medical assistance for that issue.

You shouldn't have to conceal that you're seeking help, if she doesn't support your choice to seek help she needs to be told firmly that it's not any of her business and that you'll continue to make your medical decisions without her input. The less you tolerate her behaviour the less she'll engage in it because you'll have made it clear you're not putting up with it.
