Well, I think it's about time we invent a banana phone. Like, the real deal. A phone shaped like a banana that can fit in your pocket, so you can make that banana-in-pocket joke, and it should spray banana fragrance. And you can set the ringtone to "ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring banana phone!"

how about vibrating shoe inserts?

I'd love those! They'd have to be pretty bulky though, to produce enough buzz to overcome your whole body weight bearing down on them.
That would be nice in class....
