On my cat site, a Geezer is a cat 13 years of age or older. Since Siamese can live 20 years or more if well cared for, they tend to be healthier and more youthful than most other breeds. Siamese mixes tend to live even longer.

People here tend to say 'bloke' instead of 'geezer'. That sort of language has become a bit stereotypically English.

I think it has always been more of a southern thing as well.

Well I suppose it is a good way to say 'f*ck off' in polite company.

It's same price all over t'country. Better bitter up here though.

I think the best bitter I have ever had is from slightly further north; a lot of good little micro-breweries and pub serving home-brew in the lake district. Other than that, I thik my favourite mass produced bitter has to be the Robinsons ones but aside from in Stockport, you don't tend to see too many Robinsons pubs. Holt's pubs have always been good though and their own lagers tend to be fairly palatable too.

There is one in Preston town centre - The Black Horse. I've been in - not bad and quite historical.

Its ok there; very crowded of a Friday/Saturday evening though. The first time I went there was on a Saturday afternoon where someone was holding a mock auction in the function room upstairs. I went to have a quick look and I saw a man pay £120 for a box and then watched him take it outside and realise it was just full of cheap clocks and radios. I felt quite sorry for him actually.

No, I don't run the site, but I am a regular poster. I have been on that site for almost seven years now.
