A long time ago I read an article about some Jewish sect that allowed gays to get married but only if they had kids with a member of the opposite sex 1st. They were basically wanting gay guys & gay women to hook up to have kids before gay guys could marry other guys or gay girl could marry other girls in their Jewish temple or whatever it's called. Usually churches push abstinence instead of encouraging sex outside of marriage so this seems kinda out there to me.



Lol orthodox jews or even reform jews would find that notion horrendously immoral. It must be a cult.

You can add me too.

Same-sex couples can raise children just fine - and most of them have family and friends of the opposite sex that interact with the kids and can help if the parents find it necessary. These kids (just like single parent kids) grow up amongst people, not in a single-sex vacuum and the main factor is the quality of the parents, same way as with "traditional" couples.

A lot of them do think that way. Anti-birth control, pro-oversized family, etc.

Some would even be against raising a fetus outside the womb if that were a viable alternative to abortion.
