Could my family come? I'd love to have a therapy room for my sons. It would have a swing, weighted blankets, a jumpoline, and a water table. I'd also enjoy a small, soundproof room just for my computer. Maybe a nanny to watch the kids while I'm in said soundproof room.
Should we use one of the rooms for a library?

Could I have a top room, maybe the attic? I've always had the feeling that I have a 'madwoman in the attic' spirit and it's a role I would enjoy exploring, lol. Can my cat come too?

Icarus, you can have the whole top floor. Observatory in back yard. Done.

Maybe housing needs to be spread apart a little. Shouldn't have to feel like living in a dorm.

Kitties (kitsies) are welcome.

Serenity, you will get this doll house as it's been decided space is very necessary. Even in a mental doll house.

Kids can have what they want and need. The nanny doll house is willing.

You can have the attic.

You do have a roomate. She's very small and keeps to herself.

Is that my room mate? She looks 8) and a tidy kind of person/doll. She's not the the 'party till dawn' type, by the look of her, so I think we'll get along fine. :D

Yes Starr. She also avoids eye contact with the camera. She's often doing her own thing, what her own thing is, nobody really knows. She sneaks off in the middle of the night.

Silver_Meteor. Your new space is built. It's 2400 sq. feet. Large bedroom with walk in closet. Large open living room with den and hard food floors and new wooden bookshelves, three bookshelves and an additional room with extra comfort bouncable padded walls and floor. Dining area with window seat. Intruder alert and an additional interrogation room with a self cleaning ashtray robot and two robo police officers with difficulty settings for light to extreme questioning.

Since I had to sell the apartment doll homes, instead your house looks like this

Er, wait, I'm a bit confused. I get the whole top floor and Starr is in the attic, which is also the top floor (I can't have anyone above me!)... That would make Starr and I roomates? (Hiya Starr! What's up?)... OK, that's fine, BUT... Wouldn't that make that doll shown above... ME? 8O

No, no, no, that will simply not do. If that is your impression of me, I'm afraid I may have misrepresented myself. Please, can we use this one for me instead?

Image

It's rather closer to the mark (except that my hair is a bit crazier).

Good fortune,

- Icarus Scissorhands...

Hehehe, well I'm so quiet you wouldn't even know I was there...apart from the occassional session of tap dancing in clogs. If you can put up with that, then I can stand your cross-dressing...wait, that lower image is you? Well, Edward Scissorhands, I could do with a haircut, that's for sure

ok, well i never played with dolls much. (sorry, i was a my-little-pony kind of girl)

but... i have always wanted to take cetrain people, and put them in a glass bottle. (like maybe with a little stripper pole so they can dance for me if they feel like it... or, whatever...)

but they DO NOT get to live in a dollhouse. hello! they might fall in love with each other and then conspire against me and escape or something. no, no, i can't have THAT.

but yes, there are a few people i would like to bottle.

ick, yours does not have a pole, but it is a deep creepy shade of purple and it is very round and interesting looking and not very bottle shaped at all really, but it does have a cork on top to keep you snugged in.

there is also a teeny cute pink bottle. and a twisty shady green one.... and maybe ONE with a pole...

Can i join?
I'd love a rusty broken-down sound-proof caravan doll-house permanently parked
over the secret entrance to the escape tunnel :D
With a firemans pole down into it :!:
Ana54 could sneak over in the dead of night & play spooky subsonic music to freak me out when I am asleep(I know you want to :P )
I_F could show me how to use my 10" Meade LXD75 that I've only taken out of the box twice.
& I'd need a dojo to maybe practise Kendo with I_F if he's interested?
Everaspy could come over one at a time & I could berrate them on the importance of eating green leafy vegetables for the Chlorophyll (it's full of magnesium you know, which is vital for the nervous system)(oh & the chlorophyll atom is identical to haemoblobin, except  sorry,my special subject)

Kitsy, those doll-houses are Amazing Did you imply you sell them?
I am very jealous.I have never been able to complete Any practical projects!
In my life Ever! eg. the telescope, model toys, robots etc
anyway,im getting brain fog badly
anyway forever
Matt

Are you implying that you too want to live in a glass bottle? You do have a point about the breeding and the conspiracies that brings. Oh no. Hmmm...Oh well. They can conspire and share their conspiracies at story time around a bomfire.

Glass bottles for you can be arranged.

I don't make dollhouses. I don't sell them either. I do admire the handy work though. I have never owned a doll house but thought they were interesting to look at.

I found this parked in some place full of other shinier models like it. There seemed to be people inside of it making scrambled eggs with their pajamas on but I told them that I would trade them a doll house for their caravan. They screamed and threw a fit so I just hitched up their caravan to my yellow car and they are still screaming.

It's going to be a tough war between you and the current residents.

They are still making scrambled eggs in their pyjamas?...that's what you call cooking under pressure. Or maybe pressure cooking,

I have seen some lovely miniature gardening stuff online (but won't let me copy the images :( )
Can we have gardens with our houses? Or maybe I am being a little greedy :)

Wow is this thread taking a turn for the psychedelic; so many fun strings to pull here...

Starr wrote:

Put up with it? It sounds intriguing. Though, now that Amanda Joy has crashed the thread and introduced the notion of pole dancing... Well, you know what that means.

Starr wrote:

I'll do my best, but I describe the extent of my haircutting abilities here.

:o Just what are you implying? That I... um... That I have a tendency to... Oh wait. Never mind.

Alrighty; but if you bottle me up like that, I turn into a genie; pop my cork, and I'll grant you three wishes.

syzygyish wrote:

Well... We can figure out how to use both scopes together. I live near Seattle, which provides approximately zero decent viewing nights per year. So an expert at using my scope, I ain't. And I've managed to miss the Table Mountain Star Party the last two years in a row. :( (Though when I have gone, it was awesome; camping plus stargazing - what beats that?) Kitsy, we'll need an observatory big enough for at least two scopes (with piers) now. :D We might have to commandeer Berserker's cabin and rig it so the roof slides off. (Berserker, do you mind? Oh, and please, you'll have to tell us about the constellations of the southern hemisphere sometime - please?)

syzygyish wrote:

YES! Kitsy, we definitely need a martial arts studio! syzygish, I've never done Kendo, but have always wanted to try. I have a bokken, but not a shinai; I'll start shopping around for one, and for a set of bogu.

Kitsy wrote:

He need not fight alone; syzygish, I would be honored to aid you in clearing the current residents out of your caravan. We can just rush in and start whacking them with bokken and shinai.

Starr wrote:

I just assumed we'd have gardens. I can't live without exercising my green thumb.

(Starr, just between you and me... What with Amanda Joy talking about the house residents falling in love, and now Kitsy talking about breeding... My spider sense tingles a conspiracy, possibly involving eugenics. 8O Let's watch each other's backs, OK? As you and I are roommates, and the only sane people on this thread, we should stick together. Stay frosty.)

Good fortune,

- Icarus is all packed and ready to move...
