I take it Kim Wilde covered that Diana Ross song in the mid 80s. And the Paul Simon song would rank pretty highly with me right about now.

I have to stick to the rules and quote the person above me but... heck, there was so much to comment on before that! Maybe I'll just highlight the member and comment, seems the best way to do it...

Quartz

I love that Motorcycle song, that's from the turn of the century when there were some pretty neat tunes, maybe there still are, I just don't listen to club stuff these days... "I Will Follow" is a classic of course and I was pleased to see Isis come up in the list, my latest mix-project is going to open with "Carrie (Like I Will Love Her Forever) etc etc...

Kaybee

I love it when you just appear all of a sudden, like a bolt from the blue... I'm sure that should just read "CAT POWER" (??) if it's the same band, I like their song "Metal Heart" and Elliott Smith is pretty neat, had to check my Ella files, not sure if I had that one and... ummm, I don't actually!

chinatown

Tori Amos "Northern Lad" YES! YES!! YES!! ! (ummm bit of a fan, my folder has around 350 of her songs) and "Dreaming My Dreams" just brings back so many memories from '94... "All the things you said to me today changed my perspective in every way" - that album meant a lot to me back then, every song on it!

Seize The Day

iTunes can still bring up two of the same even from 150GB of songs! And I liked to see Matchbox Twenty in your list, I still have that album with "Push" - great song and video too!

GoonSquad

This kind of mix is really me, from The Pixies to The Ramones etc... great!

One-Winged-Angel

The usual diet AND the usual exception (coughs) Shayne Ward but I really should lexperiment with some of this stuff, having only tested Tyr so far...

THE NEW SHUFFLE

Need You Tonight - INXS - The Best Of INXS
Today - RIDE - Nowhere
Summer Becomes Winter - BRIGHTER - Out To Sea
Original Sinsuality - TORI AMOS - The Beekeeper
Everyday I Write The Book - ELVIS COSTELLO - Punch The Clock
I Am I Said - NEIL DIAMOND - Hot August Night
My Curse - AFGHAN WHIGS - Gentlemen
Trailways - RED HOUSE PAINTERS - Songs For A Blue Guitar
Genius - JUNE - I Am Beautiful
At Last The Night - AMUSEMENT PARKS ON FIRE - Out Of The Angeles

^_^ Thanks! I've never heard of "Cat Power," but the Cat Powers song is from the Juno soundtrack. I've never seen the movie, but I do enjoy the soundtrack. That's one of my least favorite songs on it, though. And I love Ella Fitzgerald (except when she's doing the "jazzy" voice thing, like saying "be doo be bop ba dop," etc, which kind of drives me crazy). Unfortunately, what I've got on my new mp3 player is still pretty limited, so any 10-song shuffles I do are fairly redundant.
