I'm a big fan of cats...I have four of them.
(three which i got from a pet store, and one stray that has moved in with me).

We seem to love cats. I'm guilty as well. I'm a big cat fan. It's funny that so many others on here are too. Any explanation?

Not me. Allergic.

Loratidine is 100% affective for cat allergies... true fact.

I'm allergic. Let's leave it at that.

Ditto. It's not easy to loose a pet. They're like. . .scratch that, they are family.

Indeed. Molly had been with us for 18 years (which is well over half my entire life), so she was definitely one of the family, as the rest of my pets were.

Thank you for the good wishes, though - it's appreciated.

They indeed are family. I had Samantha for 20 years. She was there through all of the important events in my life. My love of Siamese cats is because of her. She also was responsible for helping me find friends on a Siamese cat site.

I am a cat lover but I have a relationship with a litlle dog. She has been with me three entire days and now that she has been reclaimend by her owner, I feel like a drug addict without drug. A piece of myself missing.

I love my cat, Sabu. I rescued her last March, she had been living under a restaurant...

Thanks Sopho. Yeah, I think she's gorgeous. It's really hard to believe someone would abandon such a good-looking cat. The vet thinks it might be a case of someone dying, and the cat has nowhere to go so she's put on the streets...
Today, Sabu has a VERY good life. :)

Sorry to hear that you lost your Molly, Mr Sinister :(

This is my old cat in my avvie. She was a brilliant kitty, very affectionate. We lost her a few years ago and now we have Mr Spud. I can't imagine not having a cat as I've always had at least one.
