This is quite interesting...the Prime Minister of Canada (Stephen Harper), singing to a Beatles song and he is actually not a bad singer. :D

On this day in 1962:
In England, Parlaphone Records released the Beatles' first record, "Love Me Do." Ringo Starr, who had just joined the group, was too nervous to play drums, so he played tambourine.

Don"t shoot me! I'm just the Piano Player! topic

I remember years ago when former NDP provincial premier Bob Rae (now of Liberal Infamy ) did this as a way of eliciting sympathy, of all things, from Ontario voters after his notorious Rae Days fiasco (google Rae Days and you will fidn all sorts of info on it).

Steve's kids will never live this down. They are at an age when they are starting to get self- conscious about their parents.

He will need his friends right now, what with four by-elections on the agenda. As anyone can tell, I do not vote Conservative. (I do respect TC's right to her vote).

All the political parties in Canada, with the possible exception of Lz May's Green Party, are studies in disappointment. We do not need an election right now, Mr. Harper!

And as for your musical talent, I would not quit my day job if I were you (or maybe you should. But then there WOULD be an election. Damned if you do, damned if you do not.  )

aggghh I hate Stephen Harper, what a total twat, I am so sick of the conservative
government, and the ultra right wing-nuts that are making headways in Alberta.
