100 IQ aspie compared to 100 IQ autistic?

If "aspergers" is basically a light form of autism, would you expect someone with an IQ of 100 (normal) who was diagnosed with autism to be "more autistic" than someone with an IQ of 100 diagnosed with aspergers?

I keep running into speech oddities that suggest something along the lines of "autism" more than "aspergers" and I have to admit that there have been quite a few times when aspergian people have understood NT people better than I have and I'm "supposed" to have a good enough working memory to process pretty much anything, so I'm wondering if I'm like somehow more autistic than most people on here because almost everybody on here has aspergers?

I guess, the difference between some forms of Autism and some forms of Aspergers is really pretty arbitrary, and is sometimes just a technicality.

Sometimes psychologists can't even tell if a person is HFA or AS because they don't fit one or the other perfectly that was the problem I had with mine. I have ADHD, super poor working memory, and lots of LDs. When I got my DX we couldn't decide if I was HFA or AS so by the end of it my psychologist was all like "oh it doesn't matter you have autism end of story".

Aspies score higher in language abilities and people with HFA score higher in spatial abilities.

That one makes me suspect I might actually be HFA rather than AS.
My spatial abilities are off the charts, I am almost a savant in that arena.
My language abilities ain't so hot. I've read only half a dozen books on my own motivation in my life.

Technically even if that is a trend, it's not how the diagnosis is made. Officially the difference between AS and Autism is that AS is supposed to lack cognitive delays or impairments or something, I don't even know.

I guess that would make me HFA which sucks because I identified more as AS for having special interests and little interest in socialization with NTs outside of mandatory situations. I did develop slowly but I also developed higher in some cognitive areas than my peers. I have unusually high skills for visual pattern recognition, it was noted as being savant. Even though I did have social difficulties I scored higher at actually cognitively understanding information than my peers, so even though I couldn't read a book when someone read it to me I could understand what was read to me better than my peers.

You are what your are, screw arbitrary measures that don't really mean anything.

LOL I don't even know what am to be honest we're still trying to figure that out. I know who I am as a person and what my values are, which is probably what matters more than a DX. My only problem is trying figure out how I can be myself and still get a good job without having to live on disability. I only have one now out of luck though it really doesn't pay enough to survive off. I wish I could be doing something I like although getting the right help is where I'm struggling at the moment.
