Why are people so judgemental? RANT

1. Speech - So someone does not talk right. I guess it is the end of the world. I watched a People's Court or Judge Judy case on Youtube, and this woman got scammed. The commenters were making fun of her because she had a ghetto accent. How is it any of your business how she talks? This also applies to text. I am almost obsessive about how I write online because I am afraid I will be mocked for a mispelling.

2. Subcultures - I have been on the business end of this B.S. before. You can tell what subculture I am in if you look at my signature and you have heard the CD. I have had the most hurtful things said to me!

3. Appearances - Just speaks for itself.

4. How much you have sex - If you are a woman, you are derided for sexual activity, and if you are a guy, how much you have sex is pretty much a status symbol. It is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!

5. If you listen to pop or watch certain TV shows - Entertainment is not that big of a deal. I don't care about Jersey Shore or Lady Gaga, but I don't criticize people who do. Entertainment! Not that important.

Temporary social isolation can be good for some people, it's a short-term possibility to mentally heal yourself from all the damage that "being in public all the time" has caused you. It's like going on a gluten free diet for a short period of time after finding out you have been gluten intolerant all your life without knowing it.
