i have a theory...... probably because it's meant to sound like a little animal crying out. that's why dogs love to have squeaky chew toys. your crying is probably is a reaction to the cute little stuffy squealing....

You are not alone. The squeakers make me want to cry too! I used to think I was the only one! And it's not just squeakers in stuffed animals - I also cry at any noise that is "too cute".
