THIS SONG! I'm so amped. It's one of the greatest feelings ever, when you hear a song, and can't immediately recognize it or find it, and then you do. It's the best. The hunt is so fun. You must go far and wide for the song, and you eventually find it and it's awesome and life is good for like...the rest of the day. I originally heard the song in this weightlifting video. And since I heard it, I've wanted the song. And now I got it and it's pretty sweet.

Anyway, anyone else got any songs they've had to look persistently for and find? I've had to do it for almost all of the songs on Ishkur's Electronic Music Guide, and from a few other things. It's a great feeling. Anyway, post songs you've heard and it took forever for you to find them.

Congratulations on finding your song, i have the same when an episode of a show ends and then you hear a song and then sometimes i'm like i want that song o_o But for shows its a lot easier to find song that were played :o

Good job, I've had a song and movie pop up that despite my best attempts at research continue to elude me

I tend to go on a relentless search to the ends of the earth in order to find the original sources of the recorded samples from WWII newsreels in industrial songs, especially those from Dunkelwerk. To date, only one of the samples eludes me (the ones in the song "gegen die Flak." - I know what they are saying, but I cannot locate the original source recording).
I love research...

It's a great feeling finding a song that you've been looking for, for a long time.

When I was much younger I heard a song/saw a music video on... I think it was Nickolodean, possibly Kablam!, called Pizza rocket about a spacefaring adventurer questing for the giant pizza which he believed to be the center of the galaxy.

Never could find it...
