I strongly suspect I should have been left-handed, but I distinctly remember that when I was learning to write, I didn't know which hand to use, so I looked around to see what other people were doing and was surrounded by right-handers. As a result, I'm sort of ambidextrous - some things I do instinctively with my left hand, and others with my right, because I grew up thinking I was right-handed and so was taught to do them that way.
