I often go to movies alone because I don't really have anyone to go with.

Nope. I don't like movies very much and seldom even go with others.

I don't go to the movies much, but I'll usually join my family if they're going. Haven't been to one alone yet.

I often think about it. Problem is my attention span is quite a bit shorter than even the average television show.

I've done that a lot over the years. Either because I didn't have any actual friends/wasn't in a relationship at the time, or because no one wanted to go see it with me. There's also been a few instances recently where I'd go see a movie once with other people, then go see it again by myself because I know they wouldn't wanna go see it a second time.

I haven't been to the movies for a long time, though I used to quite a lot, but never alone. Once I'm settled into a movie, I'm fine, but I've always found movie theatres really disorientating because of the odd lighting and the sloping floor. When the movie ends, especially if it's been a good one, I can feel very dissociated from my surroundings when I have to "come back to reality"; and that makes me feel very uncomfortable if I haven't got a chaperone. I don't think I've ever got from my seat to the door without tripping up at least one step on the way!

I don't watch many movies & I don't really like going places myself too much. I'd rather get a movie online than go see it at the theater by myself, it's less hassle.

I LOVE the movies!!
But I wouldnt want to go alone. So I have movie buddies to go with
(Its actually great because if you have those friends that you have no idea what to do with, in a movie you dont have to talk or interact but you're still like socializing ish)

I prefer going with others, but if it's a movie I want to see and nobody wants to see it with me, or if they don't want to see it at the time I want to see it, I'll go alone.

I used to not like going to the movies alone. It made me feel like a loser with no one to take, but now I don't feel that it matters so much.

I have before and I didn't really like it.

That said I actually don't like going to the movies in general all that much...just kinda seems more relaxing to watch a movie at home where you can chill out and pause it to get up and go to the bathroom or grab another beer or whatever. Though the big screen can be nice but for me and my boyfriend its a very occasional thing..that said now you can get beer in movie theaters....I don't recall people being able to get beer in the movie theater before. But last time I went with my sister, youngest brother and mom, moms boyfriend, her boyfriends mom and his brother. me and my sister went to the bar counter(which I did not expect to see) and she got a beer but they had ran out of the beer I wanted so I just got a gin and tonic. But I don't recall there being an option to get alcohol in the movie theater before.

The worst part is it was a very long movie, and of course you can't vape in the movie theater so I snuck some vape hits and blew them into my shirt to make the vapor less visible. There were scenes with smoking so I also tried to time it with those so it would be even less noticeable. I suppose I could have just gone outside for a couple puffs but I didn't but no one noticed and if they did they didn't say anything about it.
