I am beginning to reach the point where I view people without ASD, and especially those with cluster B personality disorders as potential backstabbers, users, bullies, and threats. I know this sounds extreme but I always make the mistake of befriending people without ASD, sometimes even entrusting them with knowing I have ASD. And every time without fail they either randomly ditch or attack me, or have been manipulating/taking advantage of me the whole time. Even the people who aren't fake like this might just be overtly hostile from the get go, or just flaky and unreliable (never showing up on time, never keeping obligations, being inconsistent). I have yet to meet a single person without ASD who do not end up being bad to me in one of these ways and it is culminating in a growing distrust and even resentment. It's so bad that I almost would like to build a core social system of only people with ASD like me so I can at least be understood and talk to people that may see the world and operate closer to how I am without being inconsistent, hostile, manipulative, or treacherous.

Check out the PP&R subforum if you think people with ASD are nicer than NTs.

Let's see what develops. It could be the OP is reacting to some bad experiences with a topical rant.

IMHO - Part of the OP’s problem is disclosing his ASD too soon. One needs to really figure out if the NT is trustworthy with such personal information. “cluster B” types are most likely not.

That's what I assumed. I've seen lots of posts over the years on this forum by Aspies who are very frustrated & even hateful towards NTs due to bad experiences.
