I'd like to read that book about Natasha and The Book of Atrus. I've read those two books based on Myst but I liked only The Book of D'ni. The Book of Ti'ana was boring and it's very ending was practically the only thing I liked in it. Also: "Terminator 2 Series by S M Stirling" and Lovecraft's letters published.

Books that I want to be able to say I've read, but probably won't even get round to reading next year ... (Maybe I shouldn't admit that I haven't read any of these, but here goes) ...

The Iliad and The Odyssey by Homer
The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky
Don Quixote by Cervantes
Middlemarch by George Eliot
plus too many more to mention

Books I probably will read next year (woohoo)

Godel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstadter
The Extended Phenotype by Richard Dawkins
The Trial by Franz Kafka
The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Stock Market (or something)
Greek Mythology for Dummies (if it exists)

I want to read A DANCE WITH DRAGONS by George R.R. Martin, but the meanie won't finish the damn book! It's supposed to be the fifth book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series.

I also want to try to re-read Malazan Book of the Fallen by Stephen Erikson. The first time I tried it wasn't making sense to me, so I quit reading it early. I've been told it will make sense if I finish the book, so I'm going to give it another go round.

And I want to read the Chinese classic Journey to the West ascribed to the scholar Wú Chéng'ēn among many other western classics written by authors Miguel de Cervantes, Alexandre Dumas, and many others.

Lately I've been watching movies I saw when little that I haven't seen in ages. So far I've re-seen They Live!, Explorers, Cloak & Dagger, The Last Starfighter, Flight of the Navigator, Better Off Dead, and The Park is Mine. I'd like to see Adventures in Babysitting, Do the Right Thing, and Three O'Clock High.

Movies out now I'd like to see are No Country for Old Men and The Golden Compass.

Upcoming movies I want to see include:
National Treasure: Book of Secrets
There Will Be Blood
Rambo
The Spiderwick Chronicles
Inkheart
The Forbidden Kingdom

I hated Beowulf (the movie, not the book)

I loved Enchanted.

And I've decided I want to read The Princess Bride. Apparently the hilariously cheesy movie was based off of a very good (and cheesy) book.

Well, this leaves me out... I'd have to access my storage locker and sift through dozens of boxes of books just to find the ones I own but haven't read or finished reading yet.
I probably have a couple of dozen like that here at home now.

Movies... pretty much all the Indie and Foreign movies at my favorite local video store.

The Simpsons Movie
Have been waiting to get the DVD as I'm not a fan of "going to the movies"
