I don't know I guess it all depends what the majority of the thread's interests are in.

I hardly make any topics because when I do, they sink as new ones come in and immediately get answered so sometimes it's all about the popularity of the subject that's posted. :roll:

Alot of the new threads don't last too long, because they are so specific. If you want a thread to last, be as vague as possible, and choose a topic that the majority can relate to. I know, it's not as easy as it sounds, but for the most part, it's true. :)
