Is there anything in particular stopping you from getting a job?

Oh, well that explains. I'm English myself. In Ipswich, where I used to live, there were never many immigrants so I have no idea of what kind of advice to give. Is moving to a different location with a higher demand of jobs pheasable? (spelling?)

Most likely not since a democratic Government is weak and ineffective in my opinion

Hmm...well I don't really have much advice. Here in Perth there's a job shortage I believe. Gimme a few years and I could be in your position. Erm... anyone else got anythin to say?

Since Art. 7 of the EC-treaty gives you the right to work anywhere within the EU, immigrate on your own.

At end you had survive in a marked and this nothing new; from a petition to King Charles II in 1683: "aliens and forreigners ... will certainly bring us and our familyes to great Poverty"

History proved quite the opposite.

Perhaps I do sound a little bit harsh, but you need to understand that the end YOU need to find a solution.

Don't wait the government will help or a miracle happens. The very first and most important issue in your age is to get an education. You go this way first!

I moved from England to France on that basis. Work from England is drying up at the moment (I write software for English companies). The irony is I may have to move back to England as a result unless I can get my French up to a standard good enough to look for work here. The job situation in England is going to get worse not better due to the recession.

Grab a job while you can is my advice - and be prepared to do anything even if it is below your education level. At least it is a start towards independence and financial security. Stack shelves if you have to! Don't sit moping.

Make a list of the states in Europe which did not have an revolution since 1815/48 and look into their form of government.
