I've noticed a lot of Wino hate around here and was wondering why. I personally love her.

I don't love her but I do not see any reason to hate her. I really dislike it when other people put celebritys down. Just because thier private lives are open to everyone - people use that as an excuse to put s**t over them. I think that is wrong and unfair.

I don't hate her. She was great in the beginning, when she first became popular. It's just that she got carried away with the drugs and alcohol, plus some bad publicity, and alot of people turned on her. There were some videos circulating showing her hitting a crack-pipe, which was one of the big things(certainly not the only one) that alienated her from the majority of our judgemental population. She transformed her public image into "super-crack-whore", and everybody either disassociated and abandoned, or made jokes about her(and abandoned). I certainly don't think it was her talent that was the problem.

Now, I've heard that smoking crack, etc... has destroyed her voice. That might just be another rumour about her, I'm not sure? I haven't heard her perform since her decline. Would be a shame though. :chin:

I think the reason people don't like her is the self destructive behavior she exhibits, its sad to see her talent wasted though drugs.

on another note: I actually did just read a story about her saving the life of a person who was thrown against a rock from a wave on a beach. She carried her off of the beach and cleaned her wounds.

most people ive known to hate her, hate her because she a does a lot of drugs apparently, and b she is also apparently well known to be very slu*ty... But I still don't think that is a reason for hate. Perhaps it's jealousy?

People generally think it's acceptable to make rude, harsh judgments about all sorts of celebrities- especially when it comes to appearance. It's nothing new. Amy Winehouse has just made herself a particularly easy target.

I don't hate her, I don't think she's a very good role model (Rehab gave out a HORRIBLE message), but I definitely don't hate her. I think she needs help desperately.
