Whenever I sit around some girls, I always smell something really bad. It is like dead or rotten fish. I asked someone and she said 'that's only when girls do not wash up'. Is this true? Can, then, the girls smell themselves?

That's not necessarily true. A girl's smell is tied to hormones and her hormonal cycle. It can also be related to sexual activity. It's quite often semen that messes up the delicate bacterial balance of female parts. Could also be sign of other bacterial imbalance like too much yeast or something like that.

Yes, girls can usually tell when there's a bad smell but sometimes there's not much that can be done, aside from carrying a can of Febreeze wherever we go.

Huh, I've never noticed a girl smelling really bad. I'm not sure that they notice...I mean, everyone has their own individual smell but you can never smell your own. I've noticed boys smelling bad. If you mean girls crotches...yeah it can be stuff like hormones and yeast. Also what girls eat can affect that. I don't think that's what you meant, but anyways. Everyone's have a distinct smell, but I think girls smell stronger.

But a lot of girls smell nice. I guess they use febreeze too?

I am just wondering what it is. I personally think it is their vagina. That smell is distinct.

I think by saying female parts she meant a girl's crotch. No, not every girl that doesn't smell uses febreze I've never used it...I like to think that I don't smell. You may just have hyper senses to smell, these girls may not bathe enough as some have said or they may do stuff like smoke that causes them to smell more, and it can also be their own individual scent that you personally think smells. Everyone has their own pheromones and scent of their sweat and we all find different smells attractive. You'll think some girls stink and others smell nice, and this helps in your choosing of a partner. I watched some big long special on TV about it once

Where their individual smell comes from? Can't say for sure. If it is their vagina, I highly, highly doubt they can smell it. I can't, and I have hyper sensory issues. (I only can if I'm in some weird position and wearing super thin shorts or a skirt.) They can keep it from smelling as much by learning how to wash better, but the skin is so sensitive/delicate that it can be difficult to figure out. As for the ones that smell nice...they could wear perfume that overpowers whatever you're smelling. There is also feminine deodorant for 'feminine odor.'

I noticed you are 15........the smell is to do with pheromone exchange based on a number of factors including hormonal and olfactory(one the smeller, you the smellee ). That is my theory and I am sticking to it.

And if the others are speaking of controlling smell in the nether regions, Febreeze is not a good way to go about it. Febreeze is designed to refresh and sanitise furniture, curtains and car interiors, not your underpants.

Lol, it won't smell like that with everyone. I don't know if you are/have been sexually active, but just like everyone smells different when you hug them, same goes for their nether-regions. I may have already said this, but what you eat can affect your scent. I hear the sweeter foods you eat the sweeter your 'taste.' I had a boyfriend who looked up the foods that would make you taste better There are even products available for purchase to make you taste/smell a certain flavor (maybe even chocolate cake, lol) I think. I know they make certain flavor lube. A lot of girls around your age are too self-conscious to be comfortable with cunnilingus to have boys going anywhere near that area anyway, though.

They don't. I mean I won't say every girl in the world doesn't use it but in general, girls don't use it. It's marketed to guys and is just considered a more 'manly' scent. You know how we have scents we consider more manly and more feminine? That is a more masculine one. I don't know what exactly it is supposed to smell like, though. Girly scents are more fruity, flowery, sometimes musky, etc. Sorry, I know that's not exactly a logical answer.

Yeah, female genitals can have a fishy smell (depending on the girl). Severity is dependent on hormones, sexual activity, what they eat, the type of underwear they wear, genetics, etc. My only advice is don't comment to the girls about it & to avoid getting close to the ones who smell bad. I can smell myself b/c I'm very sensitive to my own body odor, so I can keep it in check fairly well.

p.s, For females, I've read washing the genital area with anything but water can cause problems & possibly affect the ph levels.

Axe-man topic

My son (NT) uses Axe. His girlfriend likes him to use it. The smell always reminds me of him.

Off topic? More: I was sitting in an office being interviewed by yet another government worker and he had this rank sweaty smell, that was most unpleasant. Now i do not think all men stink, but this guy really turned me off. I believe I was sitting too close.

Ferd, if you can smell these ladies, you are sitting too close.

I usually can smell them whilst I sit at my desk, unable to move or I will get in trouble.
