I've been on so many different meds it's crazy, and since I was 15. I'm 36 now. I'm now on Lamictal (for mood disorders), Celexa (depression) and for wellbutrin (anxiety and depression). I just started the wellbutrin a few weeks ago and I feel better but it makes me shaky. Anyone else take wellbutrin here?

You have the same here, some understood ALL meds, some just psychiatric meds, so you don't really know why they answered the way they did.

Yep, welcome to the hell that is survey-making. Professional surveymakers/statisticians face this problem all the time. (I'm not one, I've just seen some of the messes created when the pros screw up, and criticism of poorly made surveys.) You really have to write the questions very exactly and spell out precisely what you mean, and the phrasing must not be slanted from the writer's preconceptions. It's no mean feat.

None, but I do need something to take for this soul-destroying depression, because it's even interfering with my job (crying easily, getting easily anxious, and having to force myself to come into work). But I'm so terrified of the side effects, I'm more scared of what the side effects might do to me than what the depression might do to me...

I am on Coumadin for a blood clot in my leg after back surgery that resulted in a pulmonary embolism. And I take medication for blood pressure. I also take medication to take the edge off my anxiety which in turn gets my blood pressure level to where it is supposed to be.

I have taken Risperdal, and it helped with tic management and eating problems. When I didn't take it, my tics were worse than before I took it. I also had frequent manic episodes and I would be smiling or laughing uncontrollably.

I'm glad not to take it anymore.

Elavil for depression, imovane and melatonin for insomnia.

Will never touch Ambien again after all the bizarre sleepwalking incidents I found myself in after taking it.

I have absolutely zero trust for pharmaceutical companies and the useless products they peddle.

I was prescribed Paxil but haven't taken it. Nor do I intend to.

for me at least, daily vigorous exercise and fresh air/sunshine [and the resultant fitness], is more of an effective mood stabilizer than any pill has been for me.

I was once on medications and I never want to go back. My doctor wants me to go on Lexapro, but I have chosen not to.
