I have never met anyone that I knew was diagnosed with AS and nor have I met anyone who has told me that they have AS.

6 months ago, I had never even heard of AS..

Now that I know I'm Austistic there are plenty of people that I know and meet that seem to show traits; some people A LOT more than others.

When I told an NT friend that I had AS, he mentioned that he thought his son fit the criteria quite closely :!:

Now that I know about AS, I know that my father has it (undiagnosed), and his father before him. My uncle probably, too.

My boss, for sure, but he most likely is not diagnosed.

I've never met another gal with AS, though, and I've never had the opportunity to discuss AS in person with anyone.

I have met roughly a dozen other aspies/auties. I generally find that I am more comfortable and have an easier time communicating with them, once a certain degree of comfort is established.
