Help develop skills, improve self esteem, and find jobs (or things kind of like jobs). And there would probably be a commune aspect to it as well. Most likely without drugs more because I'd want it to last than anything else.
This was what I was thinking. I don't know if there would be more resources from the state or county if it were considered a group house.
My house could be rented to just aspies. That I could do. But I don't have al the extra money for all of the things that I feel would help even more. I have to find out how much insurance companies would cover. There was just a rally last week in NY for Governor Pataki to sign a bill that would not allow insurance companies to discriminate against treating AS and autism.
I have a ton of calls to make in the next few weeks.
