My biggest special interest is anime. I have been into it ever since I was 7. I did take a break between the ages of 19 - 21 to explore other forms of entertainment (namely Western animation and live-action movies) but now I'm back to being an otaku again.

Used to have a deep focus on Astronomy (the science) and Airplanes (everything faster than Mach one), but now they are just recreational things i read about.

I have two, Anime and Video games ^_^

There are numerous such threads in existence.
My interests are (in no particular order):
+ Cats (not quite as strong as when I was a kid).
+ Bunkers (particularly those constructed during the Cold War).
+ Civil Defense (both U.S. and international; current and past).
+ Heavy weapons/weapons systems.
+ Ammunition (I have a rather massive collection).
+ CNC lathes (Luckily, one of my jobs involves spending 8 hours in Paradise ).
+ Foreign languages.
+ Industrial music (from Neubauten to das Ich, I pretty much like it all, though to varying degrees).
+ Sci-fi.
+ Militaria and Military schwag (it's so bad, my bedroom looks like a military base - according to my service member friends).
+Researching/studying.

Fist I want to say yay! Others appreciate the elegance of physical copies. I think I would die of grief if books and graphic novels stop being in prints.

That said my long interest is mythogy historical or imagined, which is why I like reading D&D manuals, especially racial info. This has metamorphed into my love for certain RPGs like dragon age origins, Everquest and world of Warcraft. I also love to sketch and my sketches range from mythical females such as dryads and elves and goblins and goddesses to game logos and the ocassional oddity. All of m hobbies interconnect at some point with mythology and fantasy.

Right, here's the list!

- Music (I sing, play guitar + piano and grew up in a musical family, which had a lot of influence on me).
- Gaming (World of Warcraft!)
- Roleplaying (It's really helped my English and I absolutely love seeing my characters develop over time).
- Dance (Though I'm not that good at it).
- Writing (Writing's my passion. Give me a topic I like for an assessment and 600 words, I'll write the whole book in about 2000 words!)
- Animals (I've always been closer to animals than I have to people. Cats, dogs and rats especially).
- Technology (I have this really odd interest to it!)
- Checkered shirts? XD
- High heels! (Can't get enough of them. Doesn't matter what shape or color they are, I'll love them).
- Lyrics to songs (I take them in very deeply. There's this song called 'Give Me A Sign' by Breaking Benjamin, and I just cried for hours over the music video. I'm very emotional when it comes to music and I have this really odd connection to it).

-The Super Sentai Series(Trying to go through the series that are subbed and are in the process of being subbed.)
-My Little Pony Friendship is Magic(Love the fan creations of this Children of the Night is amazing.)
-Anime(Watching Dragonball at the moment, Last I saw was the Higurashi series epic, I Like to listen to anime songs quite a lot ^_^)
- Watching Animation in general.

My main interest is programming with Python, and Android applications.

My other sub interests are sportbikes (motorcycles), cats, internet, GUI design, online gaming, micronationality, the big bang theory (tv show), aspergers and other mental disorders
