I think he said this to defend autistic people from the government. While Hitler was welcomed into Vienna, it was done out of fear. Asperger may have suspected there may have been more governments like Hitler's or Mussolini's, so he said this in defense of us.

He wants the neurotypical community to know that Apsies are just like everyone else more or less.
