Does socialising with people you're close to make you tired?

Socializing (chatting) with my ex (LDR) made me exhausted (but those chats often lasted 10-14 hours), while chatting with friends didn't (but also lasted much shorter, at most 6 hours and even that was very rare; usually it would just be for a while and go on and off a bit).

Socializing with family (parents, maternal grandparents) has never made me tired.
