! I wish I lived near the Rockies! Sometimes I look at trail maps in the west and wonder what it would be like to ski them. I live in the East but it's great skiing too. Lots of ice! Unfortunately we have had a very warm and wet streak lately so our little hill has had to close since the snow they made a couple of weeks ago melted. 
But hopefully the weather will start to cooperate and we will be able to get out there soon.

Salt lake city is supposed to get absolutely hammered with snow all weekend, and early forecasts suggest christmas weekend is supposed to have more heavy snow. I'm going to do absolutely nothing but go skiing the entire week, and it's going to be awesome. So far the rockies have had a great start, I hope it keeps up. I moved out here for the sole purpose of being a ski bum, and it's paid off well.
Didn't vermont have a great year last winter?
