As a rule, I try to use an internal stupid comment filter running in my brain. I always think hard about what I'm going to say. I try to filter it for anything that might be offensive, stupid or embarrassing. It rarely ever works because I always end up sticking my foot in my mouth anyway.

Ive tried that alot but I seem to fail at it miserably. My mouth tends to be meant to open and be shocking or meek.

I often do. Most of the time is because I am brutally honest, and I often don't stop and think about what I am going to say before I say it.

I do my best to steer clear of touchy subjects - though I believe it's healthy for humans to accept (and laugh at) our own faults and misfortunes. The trick is to get people into the water one step at a time, so to speak, rather than cannonball into a pool of controversy.

I tend to offend people from time to time. I don't do it, all the time. I only do it, when I feel that I'm under attack.

The ones I seem to offend are the ones who don't seem to realize they are offending me by prying, and "cross examining"
me all the time.

The worst offense is a weak defense topic

If I I have offended people, they do not let me know it at the time. What happends is that they bring it up much later and I am shocked. 8O Often I do not believe them but I say if I have offended, please accept my sincere aapology and I will endeavour not to offend in the near future, as long as I know what is offending the person. Such an apology is sincere and does work. Of course, if someone offends me the story is much different. I am not perceived to be as sensitive. :?

so I'm told. If I get a reaction that is negative, I remember to never say anything along those lines to that person again.

I've done it many times. Today I did it but later apololized. It's a huge thing I'm working on. It's hard for me not to react before thinking.

A lot. Sometimes lately though, I will at least perceive that what I said was offensive, and try to apologize before much damage is done. Sometimes people get offended because they think I am deliberately ignoring them. I am.

It's term used for those who do ca-ca things behind people's back lawns. I've also been accused of this and don't know why.

It's kinda a given for people with Asperger's to offend people without meaning to, unless they don't talk to people.

No, I usually offend them intentionally.
