AS and ADD here, along with a laundry list of other things. It makes for an interesting day when I run out of coffee.

I have ADD. I was suspected of having ADHD in late elementary school because I was hyper and impulsive. I was never diagnosed with it, only ADD.

I have both AS and ADD. I'm on Adderall for the ADD. I was diagnosed as AS but later learned about the ADD.

A lot of the time my ADD is worse than my aspergers.

ADD, aspergers and Depression are my main problems.

Both AS and ADHD, mostly resulting in me having very 'active ' AS.
I was very driven and straight-forward as a child, and also very social when I felt like it (in a more or less akward way).
So I was pretty much constantly running around, but in my own little world.

Having eidetic memory makes the inattentiveness less apparent, though (and less bothersome for me). I only have to focus on something the first time it's said and it still sticks. Unfortunately this doesn't work for trying to remember appointments and such, since I still have a very weak perception of time.

same here

I was dxed with ADHD in 2006, and dxed with AS in 2007. However, they never took the ADHD off my dx, so technically I still have it. Meh, there are ADHD related scholarships out there; so I don't mind.

where could one find such a scholarship?

I had a full psych evaluation recently, so I have a nice, neat, and up-to-date list of diagnoses. Go me! The paper tells me I have Asperger's, ADHD (primarily inattentive type), Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder, Recurrent. Of course, it also refers to me by the wrong name at one point, so make what you will of that.

AS and the was given ADD meds but the DR did not specifically say I was ADD 8O I took two pills and hated it...talk about hyper focus...I couldn't pull myself away from the computer for 15 hours and felt like a zombie on it. I would love to be able to focus on one thing aat a time instead of having 3 different projects going at once...all in mid cycle but not completed. I really don't know if this is ADD or just poor executive functioning but it is pretty frustrating.

I feel ya on that....

I was first diagnosed with ADHD when I was five or six before anyone knew waht AS was. Then it was chanded to AS when I was seven or eight. I once saw a book in a homeschooling catolog called "The ADHD/Autism Connection" so maybe they think ADHD is on the spectrum or something. I think it's pretty common for older AS people to have first been diagnosed with ADHD before they were diagnosed with AS.
