Billy Mays, who does all those commercials. Why does he have to shout??? I have to change the channel when he comes on.

Fran Drescher.
Almost any high pitched, nasal voice is piercingly painful.

I find that the sound of certain voices can be very ungrateful to my ear.

I don't like certain voices, especially smoker's voices or eastern european accents, they really grate my ears lol.
Also toddlers screaming. For some reason when my mum sings around the house it's very annoying.

One of my many problems with New York is the way that the voices of people (especially females) with strong New York accents (think, 'The Nanny'), make my skin crawl. High pitched, nasal voices in general have that effect on me. As for others, it happens at random....one of my co-workers voices seriously gives me the willies, as does that of a boyfriend of a certain friend of mine. It gets to the point where I just want to yell at them to shut up!....and sometimes still do.

Some voices have a certain quality which is very piercing, and I can't stand those voices... also, some voices are genuinly annoying. I hate my current 3 voices, none of them are the childhood voice I like to think of as mine, and I wish I wish I could have that voice back, as it reflects who I am inside... I don't like my 5 year old brother's voice, it is really piercing. Also, the "OMG I'm a ditzy girl who talks like its so like totally OMG like yeah Paris Hilton. Uh. Like yeaaah..." kind of ways of speaking are really annoying... I get that you are of lower intelligcne, but please, don't make my 5 year old brother look like he knows better communication in English than a native speaker who is 10+ years older than him...

Yes. Mine.

I have thoughts that I think are fine and when I try to voice them I feel ashamed.

If I can get my voice low and authoritative I am OK with it. But soemtimes it really waters down anything I try to say.

i always used to be bothered by my dad's voice, but than again, as I got older I always got bothered by low pitched, very loud voices from Males. I also have a housemate whose voice annoys me, but he has been very abusive and nasty to me in the past and caused me a lot of pain, not to mention staff and house managers to turn against me because if he was abusive, they felt sorry for him because he is ret*d. So every time I hear his voice, painful memories come back and not only does the voice bother my ears and give me a headache, but it makes me sick to my stomach and causes these bad memories to play on in my head to a point where I have to practically yell out loud when i am alone, telling him to go away.
Other than that, I also have problems with very low pitched sounds, whispering, and especially any noises that comes out of any males(except for Gay males, especially the effeminate ones).
No offensive to all you men, blame Asperger's.

I had this one employee of mine that sounded like a cross between a laughing hyenna (sorry, have no idea how to spell that word for some reason) and mickey mouse having his balls ripped off. This other girls voice I didn't mine that was her friends, but when they both laughed? I just wanted to shoot myself.

Yes, most definitely. There are voices that I can't bear - as you describe, it's like a pressure building up inside your head. A half-sick, half-violent/desperate feeling. I have to battle to even be civil to people who affect me like this, the urge to get away from them is simply so bad.

I dislike babies crying in the extreme, but what is even worse is the voices of very young children. The high-pitched, lispy sound. I feel terrible because I feel as if I could go and beat the child with a baseball bat if that's what it would take to make it stop talking.

Oh, yes. One of the reasons I want to stab (most) younger children... their voices, just... ugh.
And some other people, too.

Same with some types of laughter. Some laughs make me want to scream and rip my hair out.

there's this voice that travels around my college. some people are infected with it. the person is normally chewing on gum or smells like cigarette smoke. they have this annoying matter-of-fact way of speaking and either have a raspy voice or high pitched squeal.

example of conversation:
"so. yeah, i got the money. *two second pause* i gave it ta the bank and i think it's all gawna be alright. *chomps on gum* jessie texted merissa and now lisa's all ug at jessie." they normally speak quickly and pause in the middle of their sentences as if they were waiting for a response. i think these are the nursing students. they normally wear sweat pants and aeropostale, nike, or brand name shirts. they also eat unheathly and like chips particularly.

i have to hear this voice the most when i'm in the computer lab. so very annoying.

I had a finance teacher who was screaming like in the D-day scene in Saving Private Ryan. It was like learning during a mortar attack.
His information would quickly be killed by his loud voice and emphasis of certain sentences like:

- THEREFOR!! !
- SOOOOOO WEEE HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION OF...! !!
- GOOD GOOD!! !

...and my nemesis where he would walk around talking loudly and then suddenly just turn around and look at you square in the eyes (hes a 82 year old man with 0 patience) and then he would scream out your name very loud followed by "- DO YOU KNOW?!"

I was used to it to some extent, but if you were tired you jumped from fear.

Deep, booming voices and the other extreme, high-pitched ones.
