I don't tell others about my long term plans. Sometimes I tell them about short term ones, since I like when people know that I planed something and would be unhappy if I couldn't stick to it. :)

Noooo! People are happy when you planned sth and you can't do it! Except these plans that profit them. If you do sth for yourself or at least NEUTRAL for them, they only wait for your fail.

So when I'm not sure I can, I don't tell. I hate to be this worse one.
And I hate when I plan, I can, but something make it all impossible. Example: I planned to get language certificate, so I enrolled for the course, I was tested etc... but later I got a school timetable with lessons from morning to evening. So I had to give up language. And when somebody asks me How about your language course? I reply I had to give up because of lack of time and it sounds like I'm too lazy.

I can be reticent about telling people my plans, because of people who might want to heavily persuade me into a course of action that wouldn't be the best thing for me. If I'm in that situation where I'm being heavily persuaded, it's harder to give in.

Yes because my plans are none of others' business, I don't need any morons to tell me that I will never manage to realize them, that I shouldn't do/should do this or that, that I should plan something while I don't plan this, surrending to the fate instead etc. I just fly into a fury when someone is trying to convince me that I should do something in a different way.
