Why are so many people here compulsive spenders?

I think its one extreme or the other. My Grandfather (who the family believe had AS) was very tight with his money. Its just like some Aspies are very organized, my brother alphabetizes and or color codes everything, others, like myself, struggle with organization and have difficulty with keeping things neat. My husband and I tend to hold onto things, he keeps papers and I keep things. We are slowly getting rid of everything for our move and have a plan to try to keep the clutter out of our new house. My friend laughs at this !
Also I spend money when Im upset about something because its what my Mom always did. If we were upset she would buy us a toy or candy. My husband is very frugal....he complains about spending a few more cents on the tomatoes. I drive him crazy....good thing he loves me !
