I would not use a disabled parking spot - as difficult as it might be to find my car, I usually try and park in the same spot at places I regularly go to, and if its somewhere new then I probably won't be alone. My dad is currently disabled after a spinal fusion operation, and can only walk a few hundred metres before he is exhausted and in agony - yet the Jobcentre are still hassling him to get into work!
I hate it when people use disabled spots when they evidently don't need to. I wish I had the guts to confront them and ask how they would feel if they knew that someone like my dad needed to go to the shop for something essential but was unable to as they had taken the last disabled spot because they are an a***hole. I wish more places would give tickets to people that do that - they're quick enough to give me one when I'm a few minutes late and my parking has expired!
