Nobody cares about anybody. People only care when you make them care. When there's something in it for their own skins, then people take action.

You don't need to throw Molotov cocktails in the street to incite political action; it can be done by simply writing a letter to the correct person.

But if you're one of many in your area, I'm surprised it affects you so. Maybe there's a group you can join for support. Do you get the local paper?

no i do not get the local paper

yes there are support groups nearby

yes i have gone

but two different transsexuals are not necessarily any more similar, than two different cisgenders.

in my area there are plenty of gender nonconforming people. but when i went to UCSD, that was pretty homophobic. they rejected me in a lot of different ways.

That's awful; I'm so sorry.

I was once rejected by a group I thought I belonged in better than anywhere. I still have nightmares full of sadness about it.

People can be so f****d up when it comes to gender relations. You'd think penises and vaginas were leaders of highly controversial political parties constantly trying to screw with people's heads, instead of just fleshy appendages like noses or ears. Never heard of people being given a wide berth because of their attached earlobes or hooked honkers.

And now I'm imagining Donald Trump dangling between Vladimir Putin's legs.

it ain't your fault. i know it is a social convention to express sympathy or empathy by apologizing for something that ain't your fault. and thank you for doing so. but it ain't your fault and there is nothing you could have done about it. by apologizing, you make it sound like it was some sort of catastrophe.

plenty of precious lil "people" have totally rejected me. and not many accepted me. and the ones that accepted me did so in only conditional and limited ways.

big deal

there ain't no law that said they had to accept my worthless corpse

and besides, what if they did accept me, then what?

whooptie do

and i hardly ever have nightmares though

usually my dreams are not theatrical. nothing good or bad. just boring. which, in and of itself is an extremely good thing.
