The Top 5 Best BILL PAYING JOBS For People With Aspegers
I understand that everyone has different merits and specialities as well as ways of operating, but I wonder if someone knows a site or whatever to help you choose a suitable career. With that I mean nothing vague like go into IT , but some real hands on advice as I myself are really confused about what I could do.

It doesn't take a lot of skills, true, but you need to be able to process information quickly. Fast food can be overwhelming during busy times, like meal rushes. Plus, register jobs can be bad if you have NLD, since you have to be able to make change quickly and accurately. I know that when I was working fast food, my register never came out right, and the same thing when I was working as a cashier in a retail job.
Other bad jobs for AS/NLD:
Therapy positions, like speech therapy and occupational therapy. I have personal experience as an SLP, and I've heard of other NLDers who had trouble with OT. There is too much demand for flexibility, multi-tasking, good time management and organization, the ability to see the big picture, etc. And you need to be able to do paperwork quickly and accurately. All of which I fail at.

I try to be different when it come to this kind of subject. Seeing as I'm not a cookie cutter Aspie who would go for jobs that would allow me to be away from people, i go for jobs that do the opposite.
I'm in training to be a childcare aide and hoping to work my way up to go back to school to learn the ropes on how to be a special ed teacher in an elementary school setting. Seeing as most special educators are outiside the spectrum or NTs, I want to find common ground in the system and relate to students in a way.
I have to say that although it does not immediately pay the bills, hard work and "hyperfocus" are essential in both of these legit work from home businesses. I currently do both and have been doing one for a year and the other about 5 months. For about 6 months my payoff was minimal, ie. 20USD a month, but that's just because I'm not a great designer, artist...and have a kiddo to homeschool too. But with writing, that's a bit different and especially Aspies who have very specific interests do very well. Work at your own pace, do what you want, focus on what you want, for however long you want.
Zazzle (for artists, etc)
Squidoo (for writers - write about ANYTHING, I normally write about party planning)
Here is a page I did about autism and another about weddings, although if you see in my bio-page, I have many lenses (about 85 that I have created since I began in March.)
http://www.squidoo.com/autism-autismo
http://www.squidoo.com/country-weddings
Neither requires an investment, are 100% legit and are truly addicting and no boss to worry about
Between the two I am currently making about 400USD a month, although I put in many hours...however, I know many others with much greater abilities that make over 1500 a month, some much more...
Am I just cynical or being in engineering, accounting, and computer science is a bad idea if you are an american? Don't many of those jobs get outsourced overseas?
I would really like to be an accountant or something math related as I love numbers and right brain work. I am not necessarily good at it but I can tolerate the hardship as I see it as an alternative to anti aspie jobs.

As far as I'm aware, the demand for IT work is growing faster than the IT labor supply and I've heard the unemployment rate among IT work is about 3%. That's better than America's lowest unemployment rate of 5% and that's when it was EASY to find a job! So, honestly, IT work is looking pretty good. Sure, the more routine work is going to be outsourced (As it has always been), but there's a lot of customized work that's a bit harder to coordinate among those who only speak a foreign language and have foreign cultural values and understanding.
