Mhh, all over ... unfortunately it's too warm to wear it now, except early in the morning.

I used to always say no to wool, they're so scratchy, until I found merino wool and cashmere. The finest wool clothes feel perfectly soft and smooth. They feel like newborn babies' hair. I now have a couple cashmere and merino sweaters, wool dress and skirts, a wool coat, and about a dozen merino or cashmere socks, and some wool leggings. All worn next to my skin or touching some part, they don't bother me at all. The only problem left is handwashing is a pain. I don't dryclean anything. My new washer has a wool cycle, though so it's all good. :)

Wool fabric drape nicely and is breathable. It also resist stains and odor. I'm slowly converting my whole family into liking wool. :D

I love to wear wool on bare skin! I wear Shetland wool sweaters a lot of the time with nothing on underneath. For many people this is very scratchy or itchy but for me it feels cozy and comforting. Does anyone out there understand this? I would love to hear from anyone.

I change my mind. I don't like wool next to my skin after all. Socks are still ok, but other things have to have a layer underneath. I've gained weight and feel so warm all the time now I no longer wear wool clothes.

*A while ago we did an interesting test about skin sensitivity to touch. My skin was the most sensitive in my class. People couldn't believe the things I could feel. I can feel something the size of a sesame seed on my sheet and would be bothered by it. I do use wool blankets, but I have encased them in cotton duvet covers so I don't accidentally feel them.
