Well last time I looked you become a parent and learn from mastake's as for teachers they are teachers not "special teachers" that's why they don't understand - they think it's a parents falt - they blame the parent - the parent gets angry at the teacher...

Most of the time they don't understand........ My brother does not has any form of Autism yet my parent does not understand him or me.... She must understand 1 of us coz she is either nt or aspie... kinda goes wrong they...

No offence but its called a mothers Instincts... you can give that kid to an animal and it will raise it... Should not really call it mother's as male's can have it too

No, logitechdog, I don't fall under it. I've also been accused of being a racist because the Neanderthal theory regards races as a legal concept. However, I'm not a racist, and I have nothing against NTs in general, I'm doing *science*. It is not racism to research differences between races and it is not to use ingroup-outgroup thinking to make scientific enquiry of the differences between Aspie and NT. It is only racism if you regard other races as less worth, and you only fall into ingroup-outpgroup thinking when you regard other groups as less worth. In fact, racism is a special case of the ingroup-outgroup concept.

So, lets make this clear, I don't think that blacks are less worth and I don't think NTs are less worth either. For the good of my own genes, I probably should, but I don't.

I couldn't have. When our preemie was in intensive care, and had severe stomach problems, I was the only one that knew how he wanted to be held. The personal that worked there were professionals at taking care of premature children, yet they couldn't decipher his nonverbal signals.

People think that premature children have less visible nonverbal signals, but this is not my experience. He had the most visible signals I've ever seen in an infant. This misconception probably is related to the higher rate of Autism/ADHD in premature children.



Certainly, I've seen this before. Teachers don't want to admit not to be able to handle children. However, it seems a little different when the children have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Then it seems more legitimate to admit they don't know what the pupils want or feel.

Coz they don't have the training most special teachers don't either...

Why would the need training with ASD children when they need none with NT children?

Besides, our children are in special education, and so have teachers with special training.

Think they do need it as they blaming the Nt people for they problem's and don't sort it out - they get thrown out - put into class's with the rest of the bad one's - they need as much training as they do with ASD people too many people slip through the net on different thing's coz these people are barley good enough to teach - I know my German teacher sucked she lost the class as soon as she walked in and from then she got the other teachers in not 1 class from that day had speaking German out in the class..

Well should not class them all under been barley good enough to teach some where…

But as the detection of problem’s they suck in Nt problem’s as much as they would suck in any other area of problems – most do not even like kids which is a bit funny job to be in

Allot of Nt people suffer coz no one bother's to try the other teaching method of practical than book use some are better learning this way... really the education system is flawed in many ways for allot...

Yes, here I can fully agree with you. The education system sucks for both Aspies and most NTs.

Your reasoning just doesn't work! Some were actually friendly, even knowing about me. As for status? Most of my early years, I was ahead of just about all of them mentally. That was ALWAYS true compared to the bullies. They seemed to be the dumbest.

As for financially, I would say my family was pretty square in the center. We were FAR from rich. We lived in the same area, went to the same resaurants, etc... Another culture moved in, and it has become a DUMP! I wouldn't move there if you paid me!

As for physically? Early on, I was pretty strong, etc.... considering how little I played or did P/E. Still, they always thought I was weak, and I never fought back. Every now and then I would, but they always forgot about it. Also, I moved, so I never developed a reputation. I was a pacifist. I guess that is another ASPIE trait that wa good for society, but not ME.

So in what area do you think I was perceived to be such low status that they wanted to hurt me? I don't think I ever understood the point.

Yeah, I wrote a little thing on ASDgestalt about how grades were meant to be, used to be, and SHOULD be a FLOOR! Instead, they are a CEILING! They shouldn't place that floor lower for any student, and a student should be allowed to go as high as he/she wants. If that means giving a first grader 5th grade math, so be it! And NO students in the 2nd grade should be illiterate!

BTW that would help FAR more NTs than ASs simply because of statistical norms within the groups, and the fact that the ASs represent such a small number anyway!

Well if you infact have AS and not some extremely mild case NT bullies will be able
to perceive you social skills weakness from a mile away. And it does not really matter
how the bullies social skills compare to yours. The group your both in will certainily
see your lowwer status in your social skills weakness. Even if the bully is weaker than you in everyway and no one else sees him bully you , in the bullies mind if he can bully you that makes him better than you. Oh an even if a bully is so dumb he does
not understand any concept other than your a pacfist and he can bully you at will pretty much means the same thing (he is better than you in his own mind).
